Deana L. Fisher, MBA, LCPC

Deana Fisher is a licensed clinical professional counselor and the founder of Impactful Therapy, a private practice located in Palos Park, IL. With over 25 years of experience, she has worked in a variety of mental health settings, including group homes, residential facilities, community mental health agencies, and large behavioral hospitals. She also has significant experience in primary and secondary schools, as well as university settings. Deana is a board member of the Illinois Mental Health Counselor Association (IMHCA) and serves on the professional development committee. She holds an MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a MA in Professional Counseling from Olivet Nazarene University.

Deana specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults, using a person-centered approach and a wide range of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care.

Deana currently offers individual and family therapy via telehealth and in-person sessions.

Katie Vuckovich

Life presents challenges for everyone, but learning how to navigate, manage, and overcome those obstacles is an essential part of each person’s journey. As a therapist, I work collaboratively with my clients to identify their personal goals and barriers, creating tailored plans that address their unique challenges. By fostering a positive therapeutic relationship, I provide a safe environment where clients can explore their identity and establish healthy practices. With over 20 years of experience in mental health, I offer an integrative, person-centered approach that meets clients where they are and helps them move forward to reach their goals.

I have extensive experience working with individuals across all age groups facing a variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, burnout, autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD), trauma, abuse, and dual diagnoses. I have worked in diverse settings, such as inpatient facilities, residential programs, schools, prisons, private clinics, and through telehealth services.

As a licensed clinical social worker, I specialize in helping individuals navigate depression, anxiety, and life's challenges with empathy and evidence-based techniques. I have extensive experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma treatment, mindfulness practices, and other therapeutic approaches. My approach provides a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their emotions and develop strategies to manage distress.

Amberly Olsen, LSW, MSW, is a dedicated therapist at Impactful Therapy. She holds a Master of Social Work with a focus in School Social Work from Aurora University, graduating in May 2024. Amberly brings experience from diverse mental health settings, including alternative school environments and inpatient hospital care. Her practice emphasizes supporting individuals facing anxiety-related challenges and navigating significant life transitions.

Amberly uses a client-centered approach to help clients develop effective self-management skills and healthy coping strategies. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to explore, acknowledge, and challenge negative thought patterns, aiming to reduce stress and promote a balanced, fulfilling lifestyle.
